EXCERPT
FROM EARTH SPIRIT BOOK

These are the drums that I play,
Self is blest' each and every day.

The path is old, beyond time,
Come fly with me, soar in rhyme.
DO VISIT AGAIN

TEXAS

TODAY AT THE BAY

There are no rules for me,
My minds in the mountains
As I walk down to the sea,
And stare long at the debris;
Baby wipes, disposable diapers,
Broken beer bottles, cigarettes and more;
There is no way to enjoy this sea shore,
As I sit on concrete blocks
Holding my doggie girl,
I tell her how beautiful
Is this – her little world,
And she believes me -- for she can not see;
Next week we will begin to pick up the debris.
That is all one woman can do, need I do more?
Living here beside
Galveston Bay’s ole’ sea shore.

THE CHILDREN'S COLLECTION
MY CHILDREN WERE THREE -- MY GRANDCHILDREN ARE THREE

My own children were three; Charles (Chuck) Betty and Rebecca (Becky).
My grandchildren are three; Carlton, son of my son and his wife Linda.
Cassie and Rebecca (Becca) are the daughter's of my youngest child,
Betty, and her husband Ronnie. My grandchildren are the product
Of two wonderful homes,
And I applaud my children for this.
My grandchildren all live in the state of Texas,
And they are currently working at school; their jobs
So they will be accepted into college for their degrees;
All three were born in the month of September; Oh how I love thee.
